这是宁波市内一路公交车的车身广告：一个身穿比基尼美女背影旁写有一句“一元就能上”的广告词。个人认为这个广告充满了对女性形象的侮辱。于是在五月初，我们写了一封信给宁波市交通委，要求ta们基于上面的侮辱性广告，信息公开关于车身广告监管的具体条例。

Wespottedabuswithanadvertisementthatwefoundalittleproblematic:anaddisplayedawomaninabikini,advertisingtheirproduct,andatthesideofthewomanitwaswrittenaphrasethatcouldlooselybetranslatedas“OneYuanandyougetontop”.Wethoughtthatwasinsultingtotheimageofwomen,andatthebeginningofMaygotreadytowritealettertotheNingboTransportCommissiontotellusabouttheexactrequirementsforadvertisementstobedisplayedonbusses.

在接下来的十几天内，我们收到了来自交通委的电话，ta们表示对此事的重视，并承诺会尽快回复。信件回复表示ta们已经通知广告公司进行广告覆盖。并介绍了宁波市公交总公司是怎样对车身广告招投标，并按照哪些法律条例进行对广告的监管的信息。虽然回复信息还是有些不太完美：“该广告画面容易让人产生歧义”（你确定只是歧义？），但已经表现了ta们对我们要求的重视。

AfterjustafewdayswereceivedaphonecallfromtheCommitteesayingthattheywillberespondingassoonaspossibletoinformusabouttheprocessofadplacementonpublictransportation.Intheanswerlettertheyletusknowthattheyhavealreadycontactedtheadvertisementagencyaboutcoveringtheadvertisement.Theyalsoexplainedtheprocessofpublicbuyingofadvertisement,andintroducedthepoliciesthatguidetheseactions.Althoughtheydidsaythat“Theadvertismentmentionediseasilyperceivedasambiguous”(isambiguousreallythewordhere?),buttheydidexpresstheirrespecttowardsus.
